This study investigates the impact of urban spaces on the lifestyle of women in Tehran. Women residing in three different regions of Tehran, including northern Tehran, southern Tehran, and central Tehran, were examined. The sample size of the study consisted of 384 participants, equally distributed among the three regions. The primary objective of this research was to identify the influence of urban spaces on women's social, economic, and cultural participation, as well as analyze their access to public spaces and safety. The research utilized a descriptive-analytical method, and data were collected from women in various regions of Tehran. The results of statistical tests revealed that the average lifestyle score for women in northern Tehran was 4.5, while in southern Tehran it was 3.8 (with a significance level of 0.021). Additionally, the results of the ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) test showed significant differences in the average lifestyle of women in different regions of Tehran, as the significance level was less than 0.05. Furthermore, Pearson’s correlation test revealed a significant positive correlation of 0.68 between access to public spaces and women's social participation. These findings suggest that women in areas with suitable public spaces and higher security levels tend to participate more in social and cultural activities. The study also recommends that urban space design should consider women's specific needs, with greater access to recreational, cultural facilities, and improved security, in order to enhance their social participation and improve their quality of life.
