The present study aims to design a model for life-work balance through identification of its aspects and components with an Islamic-Iranian approach to lifestyle. In terms of its aim, it is an applied, mixed exploratory research. In the qualitative phase, the technique of thematic analysis was used and in the quantitative phase structural equation modeling was utilized to validate the model. In the qualitative phase, a total of 15 individuals were selected through purposive sampling and given a semi-structured interview, and in the qualitative phase out of 152 managers and experts in the Saypa Company were surveyed through a questionnaire. The research findings showed the components of the model for work-life balance in its individual, domestic, and occupational aspects with 30 indexes and components. The results of the quantitative analysis confirmed the significance of the relationship between the aspects, components, and indexes presented by the research model. Identification of individual, occupational, and domestic aspects of the life-work balance helps the Saypa Company’s managers enahance life-work balance through knowing the indexes, so that the ground is laid for optimization of lifestyle. The research results can also be helpful for staff in improving the balance between life and work with an Islamic-Iranian approach to lifestyle, and prepare a fertile ground for further research.
