Cinema as a public arena and theater is one of the cultural and cognitive contexts of a society. In the meantime, the clergy, as one of the most important actors, in order to convey messages and values in the communication space as a promotion and teaching of the "lifestyle" of religion.
This article seeks to answer the question of what role did the clergy play in post-revolutionary cinema and how did they use their presence as religious preachers to influence the atmosphere of society? The method used in this study is a kind of content analysis, along with deciphering and representing the promotional components of the Islamic lifestyle, focusing on the character of the clergy in the cinema of the last two decades. The innovative aspect of the article is in terms of extracting the components of religious lifestyle in it. However, previous studies have not been able to extract the components of the religious lifestyle. The results of this study show that in most of these works, in addition to the simple biological pattern, much attention is paid to the signs and patterns of lifestyle, such as the type of food, clothing, entertainment and ways of living. Most of the social, behavioral, and communicative relationships of the clergy have been considered, which is consistent with the concept of applied ethics. Also in these films, the social dimensions of spiritual personalities - which fall under the social lifestyle - are more widely reflected than other dimensions of lifestyle (such as economic and cultural lifestyle).
