This study examines three main topics: "attitudes towards the veil (Hijab)," "modern lifestyle," and "some political beliefs" among 1,200 veil-wearing women in the 22 districts of Tehran. Conducted in Bahman 1402 (February 2024) using a survey method and a questionnaire designed by the researcher, the study highlights the factors influencing the choice of veil (Hijab). According to the data, the most important reasons for these women’s choice of veil (Hijab) are, in order: a sense of security (68.8%), family environment (57.8%), religious and religious issues (57.8%), and a sense of personal identity (54.4%). The results indicate that many veil-wearing women feel passive and fearful of taking action against the phenomenon of unveiling in Iran. While they are aware of the benefits of wearing the veil (Hijab) and concerned about the risks of unveiling, they seem to feel powerless in taking effective action to address this issue. Specifically, 76.3% of women believe that "advising women who have removed their veil (Hijab) leads to arguments and conflicts," and 56% believe that "giving advice to women who have removed their veil (Hijab) is useless." Additionally, 57.4% of veil-wearing women admit that they do not accept and avoid many behaviors related to modern lifestyle. Furthermore, 37.4% of participants support continued negotiations with the United States, and 31.9% believe that support for Gaza should continue, even if it leads to war with Israel.
