Today, mass media has become a part of the lives of Iranian families, and after its appearance, the lifestyle has undergone fundamental changes (positive and negative dimensions). Based on this, the aim of the research is to study the negative and positive consequences of mass media consumption on the lifestyle changes of Iranians. The research method is quantitative meta-analysis and systematic review based on sources and scientific documents published from Normagz, Iran Mag and Iran Doc in the period of 1403-1384. From the statistical population of 98 studies; By observing the screening steps and entry criteria (survey and quantitative, having sample size and Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficient, significance level and scientific validity); 50 documents by non-probability sampling method (deliberate and accessible); It has been selected and entered into CMA2 software. The tests used are Cohen's d, Fisher's f, and Q tests. Finally, the effect size coefficient shows that the consumption of mass media has a significant effect on the lifestyle of Iranians and predicts 28% of it. Finally, the negative consequences of using mass media include: traditional lifestyle (40 percent); marital lifestyle (18 percent); sports lifestyle (38 percent); Spiritual lifestyle (52 percent) and leisure styles (20 percent) and positive consequences of mass media including: health-oriented lifestyle (21 percent); modern lifestyle (22 percent); high-risk lifestyle (10 percent); media literacy (36%) and ostentatious lifestyle (62%).
